Why did the customer contact us?
The client reached out with complaints of a leaking drain in the wall, with visible water damage, grout in the tile is cracked and the cabinets have been cut as well during the leak repair. Upon review, we noted the leak was from the sink drain line in the exterior wall that leaked onto the insulation and seal plate behind the dishwasher in kitchen cabinetry.
Solutions provided:
We removed wet drywall as well as insulation. We placed a HEPA vac to dry the sill plate and interior cavities of the wall. We also set up a dehumidifier as well as an air mover to reduce the moisture and dry the inside cabinetry in the kitchen. Also performed mold remediation and applied mitigation measures.
