Why did the customer contact us?

The homeowner stated they had a water issue in their bathroom. Per their plumber, the shower drain broke and leaked under the shower and behind the shower wall. The plumber fixed the shower drain but the customer needed us to fix water damage and dry out the affected area.

Solutions provided:

The United Fire & Water specialists investigated the homeowner's bathroom identifying a wet subfloor under the shower. Our team removed the baseboards and bottom portion of drywall from the bathroom and disposed of all wet materials. We used a HEPA vacuum on the studs and the floors to remove particles and microscopic spores. The team set up a dehumidifier and air scrubber in the bathroom to remove moisture and particulates from the air. We performed mold remediation and used antibacterial solutions to avoid potential mold growth in the cleaning process.
