Job completed for Jack A.

Completion date: October 13, 2021

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Why did the customer contact us?

The customer called with a leak and believed the source of the leak was likely a ruptured drain line under the slab. He stated he had water on the floor and holes in the wall with swollen crown molding.

Solutions provided:

A technician from United Fire & Water removed affected materials including baseboards, door casings, and toe kicks, cleaned and treated exposed areas with antimicrobial, then set up drying equipment. The drying equipment included a dehumidifier, air scrubber, and air mover to reduce the moisture level of the air, remove particulates and mold spores from the air, and ultimately dry any remaining wet structures.
