The homeowner called after having a water loss from a busted pipe inside concrete slab under the flooring.
Solutions provided:
A team from United Fire & Water set up dehumidifiers and air movers for stabilization. They took atmospheric and moisture readings throughout the home. They also removed shoe molding, baseboards, laminated wood flooring throughout the living room and hallway as well as underlayment sheeting. They also removed vinyl flooring in the laundry room and padding under the carpet from multiple bedrooms. After removal of unsalvagable materials, the team swept and vacuumed all demoed areas, and scrubbed and treated floors with an antimicrobial to avoid future mold growth.
