Job completed for Barbra F.

Completion date: June 30, 2021

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Why did the customer contact us?

The homeowner called stating they had leaky pipes in their attic dripping down the wall into their bathroom.

Solutions provided:

A United Fire & Water representative identified the water loss was from an HVAC unit in the attic that was draining down the wall into the bathroom and hallway and on the adjacent wall into a bedroom. Laminated vinyl flooring was removed along with baseboards in the closet area and a 4-inch base cut was performed to access and dry cavities inside the wall. The representative took atmospheric and moisture readings throughout the home and placed a dehumidifier, air scrubbers, and air movers to reduce moisture levels, remove particulates from the air and dry the remaining structures.
