Why did the customer contact us?
United Fire & Water received a call from a customer stating the tub in their master bathroom overflowed and flooded the entire house.
Solutions provided:
We sent a team to the house and placed drying equipment including air scrubbers, dehumidifiers, and air movers. After taking moisture readings an estimation of 7-9 days of dry time would be needed, the drying took 8 days in total. Their wood floor dried and didn't buckle. After the water had been extracted, moisture levels had returned to normal standards and the structures were dry we removed our equipment.
