Job completed for Kristan L.

Completion date: March 6, 2023

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Why did the customer contact us?

A client called stating they had a roof tarp that had gotten loose and was allowing moisture into the open cavity of the roof.

Solutions provided:

United Fire & Water inspected the area and identified most of the water coming in had come down the vent pipe and gotten into the stove. A small amount of moisture in the sheetrock above the stove and in the attic. They placed a new tarp on the roof and secured the space. Placed a dehumidifier and an air scrubber in the kitchen to dry out the affected areas in the ceiling. Removed damp insulation around the vent pipe in the attic.
