Why did the customer contact us?

The homeowner called stating they had water in their master bathroom from a tub leak that had recently been fixed.

Solutions provided:

A United Fire & Water representative went to the home and took moisture readings in the master bathroom which showed moisture in the shoe molding baseboard and sheetrock by the tub. A 2ft flood cut was performed on the back wall of the shower. The affected baseboards were removed which showed mold growth. The affected sheetrock was also removed. The wet toe kick from the bottom of the vanity was also removed. They cleaned all affected areas with an anti-microbial solution and Hepa vacuumed all the floors and cleaned all the countertops. Drying and Air purification equipment was placed. Moisture readings and monitoring were conducted on a daily basis until a dry standard was reached.
