Job completed for Theresa H.

Completion date: September 29, 2022

Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Why did the customer contact us?

The client called, stating they had a hot water leak from the attic and would like for United Fire & Water to assess the damage and provide an estimate.

Solutions provided:

United Fire & Water performed an initial assessment which identified a water heater in the attic leaked into a bedroom, closet, and bathroom, affecting the walls, baseboards, and cabinetry. There was a lot of mold growth on affected surfaces that needed to be cut out. The closet needed to be gutted, as well as the majority of the bathroom. After reviewing our estimate, the client asked UF&W to perform demolition and mold remediation. All remaining surfaces were treated with an anti-microbial solution to avoid future mold growth. All construction debris was removed from the home in proper containment.
