Why did the customer contact us?
Sherry called stating she had a busted pipe in the wall that was spilling water for approximately three hours overnight.
Solutions provided:
A United Fire & Water professional went to Sherry's home and spoke with the plumber who shut off the water and was fixing the issue. Upon inspection the water was freshwater that affected the laundry room, the sill plate in the dining room and rear hallway, the rear bedroom, and the rear bathroom area. UF&W removed the quarter round and affected padding. UF&W also performed all demolition and set drying equipment. All remaining structures were treated with an antimicrobial solution to mitigate future mold growth. After a few days of running the drying equipment moisture levels were at normal limits.
