Solutions provided:
United Fire & Water performed an initial assessment and identified a supply line to the washing machine leaked behind the wall, saturating the laundry room drywall and vinyl flooring, the adjacent half bathroom drywall and vinyl flooring, and the laminate plank flooring in the living room. UF&W set 1 dehumidifier and 2 axials for stabilization. The plumbers shut the water off to the residence until they could fix the leak. While reducing the moisture levels in the air, minor demolition was performed to remove unsalvageable materials. All remaining structures were treated with an antimicrobial solution and HEPA vacuumed.
