The homeowner called for help with water damage to an exterior wall and around his fireplace.
Solutions provided:
United Fire & Water set up a containment area with two air scrubbers prior to demolition starting. There was substantial water damage found to the drywall, studs, plywood, and stucco surrounding the chimney and adjacent exterior walls. All affected drywall and spray foam insulation were removed. The debris was removed from the home and all remaining structures were HEPA vacuumed and treated with an antimicrobial solution to mitigate future mold growth.
