Joe called for help with a slab leak he first noticed in October. He had real hardwood floors and carpeting that had already been pulled up due to water damage. United Fire & Water arrived at Joe's home while the plumbers were still repairing the leaks. After reviewing the affected areas with the homeowner additional demolition was performed to remove wet baseboards and drywall. We also took infrared pictures and moisture readings, then set up drying equipment including Power Axial Fans and a Phoenix Drymax XL Dehumidifier. All affected demolition materials were removed from the home and after a few days, all remaining structures were dry. All affected surfaces were HEPA vacuumed and cleaned with an antimicrobial solution.
