Source: Fire originated from a fire in kitchen. Soot damage spread throughout the first and second floors. Heaviest damage in kitchen. All rooms on both floors affected Next steps: 1) Contacted IEH for soot testing and protocol to be performed on 5/1 or 5/2. 2) Contents packet out to begin. Need Ozone and cleaning. Salvageable clothing to be treated with Ozone and sent to be dry cleaned. Window treatments as well. Artwork will need to be packed out and cleaned. 3) After contents moved offsite, initial demo and structural cleaning to begin. 4) HVAC to be replaced. 5) Garage has soot damage as well, will need to be cleaned during pack out.
