Apartments fires, commercial fires, residential fires…While there may be a variety of reasons for a devastating fire, such as damaged or fault wiring in recently flooded homes, a lack of smoke detectors to catch a problem before it gets out of control- if you need us, we are ready to help!
Once the fire has been extinguished, the first thing you will need to do is have someone board up the property. This does a couple of things. First, it protects any salvageable items inside your home or building. Second, it prevents any further damage from the elements.
After the property has been boarded up, we will send a Project Manager in to assess the situation. If it was a small and contained fire, we will remove all damaged structure, clean and use special services to remove smoke damage and provide odor abatement. If it was a large loss and damage covered significant area, our process will remain similar, just on a larger scale.
All damaged property will be removed, which may include things like bathtubs, cabinets, etc.
Regardless of how fire or smoke damage occurred, removing smoke particulates from walls, furniture, garments and air ducts is essential in eliminating odor permanently.
