More About Butte La Rose
Butte La Rose is a community centered in St. Martin Parish and is believed to be named after Celestin Rose, an Indian that first resided in the area. Religion is apparent in this small town with the Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapel being placed in the heart of Butte La Rose to hold weekly services for all the citizens. The community is also located directly next to the Atchafalaya River where it splits into two smaller rivers. In 2011, the area was prone to flooding when the Army Corps of Engineers decided to open the Morganza Spillway to reroute large amounts of water. Flooding, fires, and mold infestations are all in United Fire and Water Restoration's specialty, prepared with a group of technicians ready for any job.
