United Fire & Water sent a team onsite to investigate and provide an estimate. The water leak originated under the bathtub and affected multiple rooms of flooring. There were two layers of laminate vinyl flooring to be removed in the hallway bathroom, hallway, master bedroom, and master closet. A valve was leaking on the interior of the wall as well as a wax ring in the hall bathroom toilet that has had a slow leak that had been seeping into the laminate wood flooring between the top and bottom layer causing the flooring to warp. A portion of drywall was also removed to allow the plumber access to fix the leak. Drying equipment was set up and cleaning of the stud framing and sill plates was performed.

Air Movers: 10 Dehumidifiers: 3 Air Scrubbers: 3 Screws in sill plates: 3 sets Took moisture readings, instructed floor removal crew of affected areas, moved DH from master bedroom into master bathroom to help accelerate drying of inner wall, spoke with customer on drying status. Removed one dehumidifier one air scrubber and four air movers in living room. Removed one dehumidifier one air scrubber and one air mover from master bedroom. Removed dehumidifier and two air movers from master bathroom.

A team from United Fire & Water went onsite to remove as much spray insulation in the attic as possible. They also removed drywall throughout dining room, living room, the master bath area. Ceilings in the living room, dining room, kitchen, bedroom, and garage were all removed. The team also removed the trash and debris offsite. The residence was cleaned and treated with antimicrobial solutions to mitigate the risk of mold growth.
